As we are currently undergoing our fourth accreditation in 2024, this article in Smart Company published in June of 2016, looks at our first, failed attempt and what it meant to us at the time.

In our initial attempt to obtain B Corp certification, we faced challenges and ultimately did not meet the rigorous standards. However, this experience motivated us to reevaluate and enhance our practices, leading to our successful certification on the second attempt. We have since maintained our status as a B Corp, demonstrating our dedication to social and environmental responsibility.

Former employee Richard Foster played a significant role in our early efforts to achieve B Corp status.
