Brisbane, Powerhouse, Australia — Tank's Managing Director Jim (Dimitri) Antonopoulos was honoured to share in participation at The Design Conference on June 8th, 2023, where he presented a talk titled "Rattle The Cage."

This presentation, attended by 750 people with hundreds more streaming live, addressed crucial issues within the creative industries and within leadership teams across industries.

"Rattle The Cage," delivered with both courage and vulnerability, courageously highlighted the inherent inequalities faced by many creative professionals. The talk began with a reflective soliloquy on Socrates' powerful death monologue and concluded with a tribute to some of the world's most influential creative leaders in literature, film, politics, and art, underscoring the need for bravery and innovation.

Key aspects of the presentation included:

• Advocacy for First Nations Peoples: Emphasising the importance of supporting and amplifying the voices of First Nations creatives, acknowledging their contributions, and advocating for their representation and equity in the industry.
• Highlighting Inequality: Addressing the systemic challenges and biases that many creatives face and calling for a more inclusive and equitable industry.
