Bringing the voice of the community into the co-creation process was a critical part of the collaborative effort, where ideas were prototyped and tested with volunteers and stakeholders alike.
Early, measurable impact was a key principle we worked with which enabled our teams of volunteers and designers to move through the process of problem-solving to solutioning quickly, and with viable evidence at hand.
Working closely over a number of years, with the REDxFutures and REDxYouth we built and mentored internal innovation teams to answer key design questions such as:
How might we reach people where they are, and tap their potential to do good?
and,
How might we better support humanitarians and help their initiatives flourish?
Our teams interrogated and aligned problem statements with key stakeholders and worked together with innovation leaders prototype, test and validate ideas — from paper through to digital prototypes and infield testing. This saw us deliver, innovation toolkits and digital activation platforms with early, measurable impact.
