The Story
The second largest international stamp show ever held in the world and we had the privilege of playing a major role — helping such a prominent organisation to engage with audiences outside of stamp enthusiasts.
The World Stamp Expo was an unprecedented success and delivered a result that Australia Post and the Philatelic Society could be proud of, enhancing the reputation and profile of both organisations on a global scale.
The World Stamp Expo achieved a number of key goals.
It far exceeded projections for revenue and attendance; it achieved enormous cut through and reach within a highly competitive and saturated Melbourne events market; it significantly raised, educated and improved the perception of philately – positioning it as modern, relevant and diverse; and it engaged Australia Post staff on a massive scale, instilling pride within the company and its people who participated in the event.
